Teacher

Stephen is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre and Writing Studies at Davidson College, where he also works at the Jay Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship as the Cornelson Faculty Innovator-in-Residence. He has previously taught and directed at several universities in the Northeast. As an experienced instructor of acting, directing, and public speaking, he tailors each classroom experience to maximize the communicative potentials of his students. Whether aspiring actors or working professionals in fields ranging from law, fashion, music, and politics, students in Stephen’s classes learn to fuse their unique, personal voices to whatever stories they want to tell, from a detailed scene by a contemporary playwright to a PowerPoint presentation for a group of co-workers.

Check out DavidsonX for online courses in storytelling and acting that Stephen has created for edX.
